Wellington Lions to play for Ranfurly Shield on Sunday

Ihaia West kicked four conversions when the Magpies beat the Lions 36-14 in their Ranfurly Shield defence in 2014.  This coming Sunday the Wellington Lions challenge for the Ranfurly Shield at McLean Park, Napier against home side and holders the Hawke's Bay Magpies. Sunday’s Ranfurly Shield challenge will be the 99th match
