Paremata-Plimmerton stormed home in the second half to beat the Upper Hutt Rams 39-12 in their fourth round Swindale Shield encounter at Ngati Toa Domain on Saturday.

The Rams led 12-5 at halftime and were still very much in the game even after Paremata-Plimmerton had run in three quick tries early in the second half as none were converted and they trailed 12-20. But they couldn’t take their chances over the middle stages of the second half and the home team pulled clear again with another burst of try scoring over the final quarter and two tries in the last five minutes.
