Matchday Colts scoring highlights: HOBM Colts (41) v MSP Colts (26)

The two clubs met on the Hutt Rec in the fifth round of the Paris Memorial Trophy Colts competition. They were also playing for the inaugural McGuinness Shield.

HOBM ran clear in the end to win 41-26, but this was another highly competitive Colts fixture.

MSP were all over HOBM like a rash for long periods, particularly in the first half, where their lineout won them plenty of the opposition’s ball as well as their own and their scrum and forwards worked hard. HOBM would only lead 13-12 at halftime and 20-19 after 50 minutes.

This unbeaten HOBM team plays an exciting attacking brand of rugby and it was their relentless positivity and fresh legs off the bench off the bench later in the game were telling factors.
