Paremata-Plimmerton beat Old Boys University 43-31 in the deciding match of the 2023 Wellington club rugby Premier Swindale Shield competition.

OBU scored first, but Paremata-Plimmerton hit back had and fast to lead 28-5 and then 33-12 at halftime. OBU came back, but the Hammerheads pulled away at the end. Pare-Plimmerton won their maiden Swindale Shield title.
