The Old Boys University second XV beat the Oriental-Rongotai second XV 22-21 at Nairnville Park on Saturday in their Premier 2 Ed Chaney Cup fixture.

OBU led 17-0 at halftime and later 22-7, before Ories mounted a late challenge before falling short and OBU held on to win 22-21.
