Poneke trail Petone 14-13 at the break but come back to win the second half 21-0.

This coming Saturday, Hutt Old Boys Marist hosts Petone for the famous McBain Shield. The McBain Shield has been contested every year since 1934, and commemorates Alexander McBain who was the first headmaster of Eastern Hutt School when it opened in 1915. He was a Life Member of the Hutt Club
