The two teams met at Porirua Park 2 on Easter Saturday in the third round of the Swindale Shield.

Visitors Oriental-Rongotai won nine tries to two, with left wing Herman Seumanufagai scoring two tries and seven other individual scorers. Norths led 33-0 at halftime.

The teams played for the To’omaga Alex Iona Memorial Cup.
