Wellington club rugby scoring highlights: Colts Final Ories v OBU

Oriental-Rongotai beat Old Boys University 39-26 in the final of the 2023 Colts Division 1 competition.

Ories won the John E Kelly Cup for the first time since 1994.

In bright sunny conditions with a large crowd in attendance, Ories climbed into the final and scored three tries inside the opening 25 minutes to lead 17-0.

OBU rallied, and scored just before the break to trail 17-7 at the turn. OBU scored first in the second spell to close to 17-14, but Ories would pull away and stay in front to the end.
