It is week two of the second round of the 2023 Wellington club rugby season.

The second round of the Premier top 8 Jubilee Cup and bottom tier Hardham Cup competitions sees six matches kick-off at their usual time of 2.45pm.

Today’s Jubilee Cup radio broadcast match is the Upper Hutt Rams v Oriental-Rongotai match. The E Tu Whanau Footy Show is on air from 2.00pm. Tune in at 87.6FM in the city or 1161AM throughout the district and on the app Wharekōrero.

The winner continues through to the Jubilee Cup next week to play Johnsonville, while its the end of the season for the loser.

The other Jubilee Cup elimination fixture sees Old Boys University host Tawa at Nairnville Park, where the winner will head to Ngati Toa Domain next week for the semi-finals to face top qualifier Paremata-Plimmerton.

The second week of the Premier 2 Ed Chaney Cup nd HD Morgan Memorial competitions is today.

These are knockout matches and follow the same format as the Premier Jubilee and Hardham Cups (as covered above).
