Wins for Wellington Lions and Wellington Pride

The Wellington Pride and the Wellington Lions both went big in the second halves of their games at Westpac Stadium on Saturday to beat Waikato and Northland respectively.

Both teams are in semi-finals positions as the business end of the season draws nearer.

Meanwhile, the Wellington Development’s scheduled fixture against the Auckland Bs was cancelled owing to Wellington’s flight to Auckland on Saturday morning being cancelled.

There are two age-grade tournaments this coming week, the Hurricanes U16 tournament in Gisborne and the Hurricanes U18 Schoolgirls tournament in Napier.
