Matchday scoring highlights: Centurions (69) v Canterbury B (47)

The two teams met at Rugby League Park on Saturday in the Centurions’ final game of 2025.

The home team made a hot start and went on to lead 45-12 at halftime. This soon became 52-12 after a lineout win against the throw on the grandstand touch and a sprint to the line from halfback Mitchell McLeod. Remarkably, this scoring continued and then soon led 64-12.

A rout was on the cards, but Canterbury dug deep and came back to score four converted tries to close the gap to 64-40. The Centurions then scored their 11th try of the day through midfielder Ieti Campbell with an intercept and runaway. Canterbury scored a dashing try at the end and the final score was 69-47.
