Wellington club rugby scoring updates 29 June

It’s week 13 of the 2024 Wellington club rugby season today.

Today’s the day when the first round Premier, Premier 2 and U85kg champions will be found.

It is likely that Old Boys University teams will win both the Swindale Shield and Harper Lock Shield competitions, but waiting in the wings are Petone (to share the Swindale with them) and Tawa (to win the Harper Lock outright) should these OBU sides stumble. The Tawa Ducks will win the U85kg JC Bowl.

It’s the sixth week of college rugby, with just two first XV Premiership matches in action today and limited lower grade action. The draw can be found on www.collegerugby.co.nz

Men’s Premier Swindale Shield matches all kick off at 2.45pm again. Harper Lock Shield go off at 1.00pm. Same with the Colts competition, unless otherwise stated.

The second round of the Reserve Grade gets underway today too.
