Wellington club rugby scoring updates 22 June

With one round to play after today in the top two grades, at least one winner could be found – depending on their continued good form that results around them. Old Boys University are in the box seat to win both the Premier and Premier 2 first round grades but we will need to wait and see what happens.
Today is Finals Day in the Women’s grade, with the Division 2 final kicking off at 11.00am and the Division 1 decider starting at 1.30pm, the latter match being between unbeaten Petone and Oriental-Rongotai.
A moment’s silence will be observed at the start of all matches today, in remembrance of the tragic passing of Connor Garden-Bachop earlier this week.

It’s the fifth week of college rugby, with the First XV Premiership and all other grades in action today. The draw can be found on www.collegerugby.co.nz

Men’s Premier Swindale Shield matches all kick off at 2.45pm again.  Harper Lock  Shield go off at 1.00pm. Same with the Colts competition, unless otherwise stated.

The second round of the Reserve Grade gets underway today too.

Another fine day is forecast. Our Draws & Results website above is accurate as of Saturday morning – but always check the https://www.wrfu.co.nz/senior/draws-results site.

For draws for these competitions noted above please visit:  http://www.clubrugby.co.nz/wellington/games-results.php?competition=1&season=21&round=11

And use the ‘Select Competition‘ tab on the left to find your favourite competition (if you are on a mobile, its a bit clunky because the website was built in 2005…hopeful modernisation coming any season soon).

  • Results at the link above are not live, but will be inputted later on following fulltime. Plus individual scoring for the Men’s and Women’s Premier competitions.
  • Look out for our review and round-up of the day’s action on this website, on Saturday evening or early Sunday.
