Half century up for Wellington Samoa Rugby Union

The Wellington Samoa Rugby Football Union are holding their 50th anniversary celebrations this Saturday at Porirua Park with a feast of rugby all day and on both fields.

There are 10 matches being played throughout the day, culminating in the final match of the day on Jerry Collins Stadium between the Wellington Samoa Men’s and Pacific Aoteraroa Men’s teams.

Condor 7s Monday: The annual Wellington Condor 7s qualifying tournament is being played at Naenae College on Monday. Draw and teams to be confirmed in a separate post, although CR is aware that teams and numbers are well down on pre-Covid years and at least a couple of prominent schools won’t be there.
