Club rugby in 2025 has all but wound up through the Lower North Island, but there is plenty of rugby still on the table over the next two to three months.
With the exception of the National U85kg Knockout Cup (involving five clubs in Wellington and others from further afield), the spotlight is on the remainder of the college season, the Hurricanes Youth Council’s programme of school and representative matches and moving into the Heartland Championship and National Provincial Championship competitions.
A schedule of what is coming up is below, ordered by date. Kick-off times are given if known.
This schedule predominantly focuses on:
- Wellington representative teams
- Hurricanes region post-competition college fixtures
- Lower North Island Heartland teams – Horowhenua-Kapiti, Wairarapa Bush, Whanganui*
- Wellington and Manawatu NPC and Women’s NPC teams*
*Home NPC/FPC/HC games listed only. But all other representative teams where draws can’t readily be found online elsewhere the home and away schedules are listed here.
This is intended as a moving document that we can amend and update as the rest of the rugby year unfolds. To keep us informed of changes or corrections please email clubrugbynz@gmail.com
